Cornwall is well connected with regular fast direct trains from London making it easy to connect with England's major international airports of Heathrow and Gatwick. For our Cornwall and Dartmoor Walking Tour the arrival rendezvous point is Truro Railway Station at 16:30 local time and the journey time from London Paddington is around 4hrs 30min, it is advisable to book tickets and reserve seats and you can do this online. If you can afford the time we would recommend that you arrange your flight to England to arrive a day prior to the tour as flight delays and jet lag could spoil the beginning of your trip. The tour ends with transport to Bodmin Parkway Railway Station for 10am and the journey time back to London from here is also around 4hrs 30min. We will of course be happy to offer you advice and assistance in planning every aspect of your holidays with us and if you have any questions we will be here to help.
Arrive a day earlier and travel to Cornwall and stay overnight at St Ives to visit the numerous galleries including the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Gardens. The Porthminster Café located right on the beach is also a highlight not to be missed, a multi award winning seafood restaurant.
Spend a night in London to take in one of the many shows that the famous Theatre Land in the West End offers, or visit Covent Garden for its eclectic mix of street performers and informal eateries.
